About us
I am the founder and leader of our Academy. My name is Milana Niemi, I was born in St. Petersburg, but I have been living and working in Finland over 30 years.
Since childhood, my life has been associated with dogs. My mother worked as a veterinarian, and there were always animals in our house. At the age of 12, I got my first dog of my own, with the upbringing of which my hobby for training began.
In St. Petersburg, I finished training school at a dog breeding club and trained service dogs in Obedience classes. In Finland I have been working as a professional dog trainer since 2014. I have a trainer diploma from the Finnish Kennel Club (Kilpatottelevaisuuskoulutusohjaaja).
I own 4 dogs, doing different kinds of training and sports with them (TOKO, agility, nosework, jäljestys). We successfully compete in national Finnish obedience competitions with my dog Ben beagle and we have won many times.
The tasks of our Academy are to lay the foundations for the education and obedience of a dog in everyday life with the help of special techniques and exercises, to direct the dog's energy in the right direction, if necessary, to correct the mistakes made by the owners earlier, to give them practical recommendations on raising their four-legged friends. Another area of our Academy's work is professional dog training and preparation for competitions.
We provide individual or group lessons in different languages: Finnish, English or Russian.
